Check engine light has been on for a while, have not had any issues. Durango has about 180,000 miles. Last night started it, got in put in gear, pressed on the pedal, does nothing. Doesn't make a sound, just acts like the pedal is not connected anymore. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
Need to get the code(s) from the CEL. You should be able to read the basic codes by doing the key dance. Turn the ignition to ON, turn back to ACC, turn back to ON, Turn back to ACC and then turn back to ON. Need to do this quickly (<5 seconds) or it won't work, or if you happen to turn the key OFF or START you'll have to start over. The codes will show up in the odometer read out.
There could also be some advanced codes set but you'll have to hook to a scanner which can read them to find out if you have any stored.
