Default RainX For Windshield

Anyone have any opinions on RainX for the windshield? I know my Dad used to use it but that was years ago. Is it a decent product still and worth it?

ah... YEAH!!! I still use it. In fact, it was the second thing I did to my Durango when I bought her. I reapply it once a quarter (every 3 months).

I agree. Rainx works great. I use it on all my vehicles.

I put it on my windshield and couldn't get rid of the streaking. What am I doing wrong?

They key to applying RainX is to clean the windshield very good first. Then you apply consistently until there is a haze. Once you have that, let it sit for a minute, then I like to wipe it down with a microfiber cloth that is dry. This will remove any excess haze.
If that does not work, you can also mist with water then re-wipe with a dry paper towel or new microfiber cloth.

I even like the Rainx windshield washer fluid, it doesn't last as long but works just as good and the regular Rainx.

Aquapel lasts a lot longer - actually bonds to the windshield
