Default Steering Drift

Have been experiencing an abnormal amount of steering drift at highway speeds. It becomes physically exhausting on longer trips. Dealer has done all of the allignment checks and is at a loss for other possible causes. Please share your ideas on possible causes or similar experiences.

May want to try to get them to adjust the toe out a little, may help the wandering.

Hey packer did your dealership figure this out for you yet as mine does the same. I can't let go of the wheel at all as my unit will dart towards the ditch as soon as I let go.

Just throwing out ideas... I would imagine that resistance on one front wheel would cause you to veer a little.

After two day of being at the shop the boys and girls at dodge can't figure out what is wrong with my unit just like Packers. They are contacting dodge engineers to see what they should try next. Will keep you posted.

hmmm.... perhaps another alignment shop could fix the problem. I was having the same issue on my wife's Charger. Took it to another shop and they had it fixed in less than an hour.

I continue to experience the same steering drift as I did back in March after numerous attempts by the dealer to correct the problem. It appears that this is a design flaw in the Durango and is a potential hazard to my family. Shocked at the poor response by the Chrysler people as well. Will be persuing a remedy to this situation with Chrysler. Probably a monitary settlement as they are standing behind their product. Please post any similar concerns you've experienced.
