98 durango, gauge loss, blinking millage,

I'm trying to figure out where a short is in my dash. My gauges come and go. Sometimes i loose half sometimes all at once. My millage blinks when this happens. My abs and air bag light come on. also sometimes I loose my dome light power locks and windows. And the sound for the open door alarm doesn't work right. my cd player also comes and goes. sometimes by itsself sometimes with with everything else hitting the dash and under the steering colum helps sometimes. everything runs and starts correctly when this is happening. and all my fuses are good. Just wanted to see if anyone knew where to start thanks.
