can aftermarket rear dvd work with 430n?

I just purchased a2011 durango crew Liz with 430n radio. The vehicle did not come with the rear entertainment package but the salesman said they could do a dealer install. The salesman called back the next day to say that dodge no longer will hook up the tv to the head unit. They will only install an aftermarket one with a built in dvd. I would really like to be able to control the dvd from the front. I've heard about lockpick but I'm not concerned with watching movies while driving. Is there any other options?
