I am currently on the hunt for a used car, and I stumbled upon a 2011 Dodge Caliber that caught my eye. However, The car has a 2.0L L4 DOHC 16V engine and the asking price is $11,990. I am a bit hesitant to go through with the purchase since the car has a salvage title. I was hoping to get some input and guidance from the community on whether or not it is a wise decision to take the risk.
Although the price for the year and model seems reasonable, the salvage title is causing some concern. I am worried about the potential issues that could arise from owning a car with a salvage title, including safety concerns, difficulties with obtaining insurance, and challenges with selling the car in the future.
