Gatty 4.0 - Sidney James Mountain Lodge

The owner and staff at the Sidney James have been very good to us. I know it's not the newest or most upscale hotel in the area but they have gone out of their way to provide the most enjoyable experience for us.

This year, Sid (owner) and Tommy (manager) arranged both outdoor pavillions and the caterer (the food was excellent). They also covered the cost to rent both pavillions and provided the hotel housekeeping staff to clean up after each event.

They arranged for a mobile detailer to be on site. Based on a suggestion by a couple of our members, they're going to have a covered area where members can wash their own cars next year because some members don't like to have anyone else wash their car.

They advertised our event on the local radio for 2 days last week.

They give us the run of the place. They will even refund other guests and tell them to go to another hotel before they will ask us to be quiet or not hang out in the parking lot until the early morning hours.
