Welcome to the Z from NC! Glad you joined us, enjoy!
A: Here is a great link that explains some of the differences. http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/engine/hrdp_0804_small_block_mopar_engine/viewall.htmlHowdy, I'm new around here, and I'm from Arlington, WA and I just got my first Durango (yeeeeeha!). It's a 99, it's dark blue, and it's got a 360 Magnum in it. And I really have always wanted one of these, every since I first saw one.
1st dumb question: What's the difference between a regular 360 and a
360 Magnum?
A: With no suspension modifications you will not be able to fit those tires without rubbing issues on the front. The rears shouldn't be a problem. I have a 3" body lift on mine and also tweaked the torsion bars to allow for greater clearance in the front. I'm running 275/70/17's (32/10.5/17) on mine and they rub a little at full left or full right turn. An 11.5inch wide tire will rub with the slightest turn of the wheel.2nd dumb question: Has anybody actually put 32 x 11.50 tires on their non-lifted, stock wheeled Durango? I just happen
to have a brand new set of BF Goodrich T/As sitting
under another truck that would be fairly simple to
put under my Durango. It has 31 x 10.50s now.
