Idling problem?
I own a 03 durango..everytime i tow my bassboat or utility trailer,the next day the rpm gauge fluxuates up and down ,till the engine stalls out .This will last for a couple of days and then corrects it self .The overdrive is off when i tow .The check engine light doesn"t come on ..thanks you everyone in advance !

That is unusual. If it were me, I'd be looking toward the tranny since it only happens after towing. But I'm just gussing here.
Thanks Tymont...I will bring it in to my mechanic to check it out !
figured out the problem ! Changed the replace with a new adapter and then towed a trailer and NO problems !!! The old adapter must be screwing around with the computer ! or haunted boat ! lol
