I know I need to vaccum...I know. 5/8" MDF, truck undercoating/sound deadening, and carpet. Perfect fit and sounds WAY better than stock. I broke the frame on the aluminum sub cover. but have a new one coming.

Curious to know the answer to this as well.

Also, are you using the stock amplifier?

I am not sure of the rating on the stock amp but I wonder if it would support a 2 ohm load having both speakers in parallel.

thread looks to have died off. If possible could you explain how you tapped intot he factory amp. Looking to add a 10 and would like to keep it as factory as possible.
