we all hate sensors!! i recently had my 2001 durango hooked up to a diagnostics cpu at a local parts store, and the code that came back was for the "ignition speed control sensor". i've never heard of such a thing. i've had issues with my throttle positioning sensor before and recently replaced it. the issues i'm having is when im sitting idle, it'll act like it's going to stall out then jump to 1500-2000 rpm and try to take off. it also has trouble shifting in the low range gears. i'm wondering where the ignition speed control sensor is located so i can check it out. thanks guys!!

There's a speed sensor located in the rear differential but I'm not sure it's the same one.
