Hi all. I am the proud owner of a 2005 Durango Limited and looking to get a brand new GT or Citadel. I have been to a dealership I purchased from in the past. They now tell me that with the use of my father's employee discount (EP pricing) the sales reciept must show the selling price was invoice price to get the discount (5% below invoice) or Dodge wont honor the discount. In other words the dealer gets reimbursed for the discount and I get a price no better than I could negotiate on my own. I have in the past gotten the EP discount, rebates, and still was able to negotiate the price down. The Durango I was looking at is priced online at $42000 and priced out at $41300 EP pricing, not much of a discount🤔 and the dealer makes more profit! Has anyone else had experience purchasing with EP pricing and negotiating the price down from there? Thanks all!!
