New to durangos but not mopar
Ok so i am looking and deciding what durango i want to get i know i want a 2003 or older. They look awesome lifted. I hangout with a bunch of jeep owners and run trails out here in Arizona. I am looking for any suggestions on what year to get and what mods will make it decent for crawling some rocks.

Welcome to the Z from Texas. I haven't seen any 03 or newer D's on the trails. However, first gens are awesome on the trails. They aren't as manuverable as a jeep but they are much better than a full sized truck. My 2000 has surprised me at some of the stuff it can go through.
One of the main things I prefer about the first gen D's is the manual transfer case. I just never have trusted the push button type. But that's just my preference. If you're planning on rock crawling then a lift and locker are essential.
