Engine knocking is never good. First of all check fluid levels (oil most importantly) and for leaks and nicks in the belt. Get it to a shop ASAP before a knock turns into a spun rod.

proud owner 2004 durango 5.7 v8 hemi Limited. beautiful burgandy color ,the envy of my neighborhood. Just one problem ,it started loud knocking yesterday after sitting for one week. Can anyone HELP....PLease. thanks in advance for any help or suggestions
