if I install Blastin Bobs Resonator Delete kit?

Or do I need to buy an R/T exhaust to replace the Citadel exhaust?

I only ask to save $200 ..........

I can pick up an R/T exhaust for $400 but the Resonator Delete is $200.

I bought the Citadel for the wife but I need some throatier exhaust for me to be able to enjoy driving it.

Thanks for any replies.

Can't say for sure but if your vehicle has the MDS (cylinder deactivation), removing the resonators usually causes a bad drone when it kicks into 4 cylinder mode.

My 2018 Citadel does have the MDS system............I've seen and read the same comment on other forums as well.........

Maybe the suitcase mufflers are different from an R/T to a Citadel?

Could be but I don't know. I know on some of the cars (Challengers, Chargers) people have removed the mufflers & gone straight pipe to make it louder & left the resonators in place to kill the drone.

Unfortunately this place has died off so someone else may or may not chime in on this.

The jury is in.........
the mufflers and resonators are different part numbers for the R/T and the Citadel.
I found the part numbers:
Muffler & Tailpipe: R/T 68276639 Citadel 68276625
Resonators: R/T 68276640AA Citadel 68276626AA
