Anybody else have the problem of paint peeling off their plastic exterior parts?
My grill and the luggage rack rails are peeling pretty bad.

I assume this is on an older Durango correct? A buddy of mine has a 2005 Durango and the chrome on the front grill is actually bubbling up and pealing off. It's not a true chrome piece. Pretty sad.

I'm grateful the new Durango's aren't like that.

Yes, it's a 2000 R/T. The roof racks and grill are body color painted plastic.

for plastics,use an adhesion promoter before painting.also i believe there are paints made specifically for plastics.:D

Yeah, Duplicolor's vinyl & fabric paint works very well with plastics if you just need a basic color. But if you're going to use a basecoat / clearcoat you'll need to use a flexible primer before painting.
