I'm not sure of how they seal. Use to be flared ends years ago but it may have an o-ring now. You may want to post up your vehicle details to help get some answers.
Thanks For your reply. It's a 2000 Dodge Durango 5.9L. I'm not so sure after checking today that it is coming from there. I'll update this post when I have more information.
Mine leaked on my 99 and I put a stop leak made for power steering systems. may not be the best solution but only need it to work untill I can afford to fix
