I have a leak at the pump where the hose goes into it. Is there a seal I can buy, or do I need a whole new hose?

thanks in advance.

I'm not sure of how they seal. Use to be flared ends years ago but it may have an o-ring now. You may want to post up your vehicle details to help get some answers.

Thanks For your reply. It's a 2000 Dodge Durango 5.9L. I'm not so sure after checking today that it is coming from there. I'll update this post when I have more information.

Thanks again.

If it's a leaking pump seal, they make repair kits for them that aren't too expensive. About $10 at rockauto.com

leaking

Mine leaked on my 99 and I put a stop leak made for power steering systems. may not be the best solution but only need it to work untill I can afford to fix

Why do folks not post the final chapter we need to know what happened.
They fix the problem and forget to come back and fill us in. I try to do all my repairs with a "how to" in mind. That way I can share.
