Spindle Nut Size On RWD 2001 D

Trying to repack bearings after suspension rebuild and was wondering if anyone had the spindle nut size for a 2001 RWD 4.7 D. I have a 36mm socket but it is not a good tight fit and I don't want to damage the nut.Thanks for your help.
