What year is it? I have and 02 and it is mounted in the center of the motor. I am changing the head gaskets as we speak and will change the water pump as preventive mantance. I could take some pics if you would like.
Water pump woes!!!!!
Anxious to see some morepost here as i'm anxious to learn a lil more about my wifes 1st gen with the 4.7 that appears to have a water pump going south! Looks like the pump is actually mounted to the bottom side of the engine and that this engine may be a reverse flow cooling system.Got to get some details worked out so i can work on it.
